There’s a mystery to the world. As it should be. For those of us who like to live in a world of concrete reality, we’re out of luck. For those of us who want to believe we are masters of our fate and in control of our destiny, we’re really fools.
The truth is, there is no truth. We have only our questions. This blog provides no answers. It simply raises more questions. My questions.
What is your soul’s work? Do you have a “job” to do that you have yet to uncover? What is the legacy you will leave? Who will be impacted by your life?
There’s an old Indian adage which speaks about treading lightly on the world; leaving few footprints. And that is true ecologically. But soulfully each of us leaves a mark that impacts generations upon generations of lives. We all count. We all create ripples in the energy of the universe.
When we place one foot firmly on the ground and the other in the GodGel that pervades all space and time, we are able to stretch out and reach a place that allows us, even demands of us, to be the most glorious part of ourselves.
In Judaism, we study the Torah. Some refer to it as a Book of Laws. I prefer the Book of Lives. Each person has a Torah. Each person has a story about their own lives with unfinished chapters.
Are you a hero in your own autobiography?
Best,
Miki
